Playthrough | Part 1: The New Journey is Upon Us
We've waited seven long years for this. Seven years for this game to come out. Well, it's here and let me tell you, I'm hyped. Absolutely hyped. Welcome to Hollow Knight: Silksong.
This game is a sequel, set some time after the events of the first game. It centers on the lethal hunter Hornet. She finds herself in a vast, strange kingdom. And this place is truly something else. It's a mix of Souls-like with Metroidvania and I love every bit of it. Every bit. Unlike the original Hollow Knight, Silksong centers on Hornet and she plays differently. Regardless, it's a journey you don't want to miss.
In here, we begin the first act Pharloom. We also take on the first boss, the Moss Mother. She wasn't difficult. You just got to time your jumps. Afterwards we meet a whole bunch of new characters including Shakra. She's important because she can sell you maps and stuff you can use. Maps are needed in order for you to move about and find out where you're going. Plus, the game has two different currencies. No joke.
