Playthrough | Part 24 – Truth of the Ueno Seiwa Hit (Tanimura)

We got the sub-story stuff out of the way. Now it's time to press on with it and I do mean a lot.
Tanimura gets the briefcase and meets up with Katsuragi outside the Millennium Tower. Tanimura wants to know the truth of what happened to his father and Katsuragi is more than happy to tell him. Here's what happened. Before that, Tanimura mentions that Arai killed Shibata and the fact that Katsuragi and Shibata are connected.
Tanimura's dad knew the connection between Shibata and Katsuragi. But it turns out, these two were the ones that wrote the script. He knew the time and place when Saejima would do the hit. He knew everything in detail. He was thorough. Katsuragi conspired with Shibata to eliminate his own family's officers, making it look like the Tojo did it. Katsuragi and Shibata wanted to rise up in the ranks. In the end, he became a lieutenant while Shibata rose to the top.
Katsuragi also reveals that there was corruption within the police force's upper echelons. The police had staged a cover-up of the whole mess. They concealed the real killer while Saejima took the fall. Saejima still did the hit but someone else completed the rest. Tanimura's dad figure everything out but he would end up getting killed for it. Tanimura asks who it was that killed his dad. Katsuragi wants Yasuko. But things get very eerie. Made worse is that behind him are Ueno Seiwa thugs. Yep. It was Katsuragi who was responsible for the Ueno Seiwa hit. But before Tanimura nearly gets beat by thugs, Sugiuchi shows up. He tells Tanimura to get moving.
What follows is a race against the clock. Tanimura has to contend with thugs. Basically, you have to beat down thugs until you reach the end. It's long but not impossible to contend with. I sadly got a Game Over cause of that and I feel embarrassed. At one point, you'll lose the briefcase and you have to fight barehanded. The guy is tough so take advantage of using parries, weapons, the works.
Fortunately once you reach back to Little Asia, Hisai is there. But what for? We'll have to find out in the next chapter.
Part 25 begins Chapter 3 but this one is a very short one. Very short.
