Playthrough | Part 4: Helping the Oracle
Despite what happened in the previous part, we continue on as we still have a job to do.
For starters, we take a detour and head into Midcompany. Basically, we do this for the sake of completing Guild Quests. Trust me, it'll be worth it. Once that's done, we head to Endless Zone and get some materials. Afterwards we head to Rebeat Resort to take care of the monster that needs to be dealt worth. It's here that we encounter a strange mouse that has a huge hard on for Compa. Afterwards we head back to Lastation. We get word that we can find the Hematite at Septent Resort.
We head for Septent Resort and encounter a lot of new foes. Eventually we find the Hematite, but it seems Uni's there too. She's also after the Hematite as well. Uni wants to say sorry to Nepgear but she can't find the right words for it. Nepgear wants Uni to work with her, but she says no. Unfortunately, things fall apart and the two argue, turning it into a brawl. IF and Compa try to alleviate things, but it gets worse. How worse? Underling is there and she decides to use it as the perfect distraction to take them all down. So now they got to take the monsters down. This irritates Uni.
So, your party takes down a trio of Tae Kwon Cats. They are no big deal but that's the least of their problems. With them dealt with, Uni wants to take on Nepgear in a one-on-one battle. IF finds it annoying but it has to be done. The battle isn't hard. Focus on raising your vitality up and then bring the pain. Not much else though you may need to heal when needed if things get hard. After the battle Nepgear wins but Uni being tsundere, departs. Nepgear gets the Hematite, and everything is done. Uni, however, feels that she has to keep getting stronger so she can never lose to Nepgear again.
They return to Kei in Lastation and Kei is pleased that they got the stuff. However, Nepgear tells Kei what happened 3 years ago. Fortunately, Noire is still alive so not all hope is lost. So, with this, Kei hands Nepgear the location of where the Mascot is. But she does warn them that things may not go as planned. With this, we need to return to Septent Resort. They encounter Black Disc and when Nepgear asks, she says no. Warechu is trying to find Compa and when he wants her to join ASIC, she says no. So now we got to deal with a Fenrir and Warechu.
Focus on the Fenrir first as it can be a bit problem if you leave it open. Once it goes down, then focus on the Warechu until it goes down. After the fight, Black Disc chooses to go into hiding despite refusing to join Nepgear. So instead, she gives Nepgear her power, the Black Disc. At least not all hope is lost. So, they return to Lastation to deliver the news to Kei. With everything done, their next stop is Lowee. Looks like ASIC may have had some influence there.
It's also here we see the second event that leads into the Conquest/Holy Sword ending. That's for way later. We continue in Part 5.
