Playthrough | Part 6: Race to Save the Mascot
We know where Underling's heading and it's to the World Labyrinth.
As Nepgear and her crew head for there, Rom and Ram have a bit of a spat over Nepgear. Rom thinks that Nepgear is okay but Ram thinks otherwise. Rom runs off to find Nepgear. As for the gang, we explore World Labyrinth and there's plenty to find and explore. They find White Disc and like the others, it chooses to stay in World Labyrinth. Turns out it was Neptune who told her to stay since Lowee has no Mascot. White Disc was one of Planeptune's mascots until she went to Lowee. She can't leave because of what Neptune told her to do.
But then Underling shows up, ready to throw hands. Don't help that she brings a lot of monsters to keep us distracted. The monsters are tough but not a big deal. Once they are dealt with, they find Underling only for her to destroy the White Disc. To make matters worse, it was done to awaken something much worse: The Killachine. Remember them from Neptunia Re;Birth1? Yeah, this is going to be tough. Bring out the big guns as in your strongest units to take them down. It's going to be a pain of sorts.
With the Killachine dealt with, Nepgear and her crew are forced to retreat. Knowing that this is going to get ugly. They return to Lowee and meet up with Mina, Rom and Ram. They learn that Killachine was created by Arfoire as a means to bring destruction. To make matters worse, there are hundreds of them sealed all over Lowee. Not good. There's not much we can do. So we head for Lowee Global Expo and check out the West side. They take care of a few enemies and obtain the Rare Metal. Next they return to the World Labyrinth and obtain a Datanim. They then return to Lowee and with the help of Broccoli, they create a Replica Disc. She hopes to bring the mascot back by using it and they succeed. So now White Disc asks Nepgear and her crew to return to World Labyrinth in the hopes of activating the seal once more. Broccoli wants to join and does so. Sadly, Rom and Ram can't join us.
As they head for it, Rom and Ram have yet another spat. Rom decides to head off, realizing that Nepgear has done more than they ever could. The gang confront a Killachine once more and this time, they are prepared. We have another boss battle with the Killachine and the same strategy applies. But as they head up another floor, they confront Underling. But this time, with the White Disc, they have a chance. This time, we take on the CPU Breaker. Plan yourself accordingly as it can wipe you out if you are careless.
With it defeated, the White Disc uses its power to power down all the Killachines. Everything will return to normal. White Disc remains but she also offers Nepgear her power, in the form of a White Disc. They return to the Basilicom and Mina thanks them for their efforts in saving the city. Now their next stop is Leanbox. The Oracle needs to see us. We can get there but there's one problem. Underling and Warechu beat them to it. So now we got to find parts so that way we can have a ride to Leanbox.
