Playthrough | Part 5: Trouble in Lowee
Our time in Lastation is over. Now we move onto Lowee.
Unfortunately, things in Lowee haven't been good. Nepgear and the gang reach the Basilicom but it seems that they find ASIC frolicking about, especially Underling. Made worse is that Underling kidnaps a girl and not just any girl, but it's Rom. Her sister Ram is looking for her but right now we got to go after the Underling. This leads us to the Lowee Global Expo.
Before that though, I show off the additional cutscene that leads into the Conquest/Holy Sword ending. Don't worry, we'll take care of that much later. In the meantime we head into the Lowee Global Expo hoping to chase Underling and rescue Rom. We find her but sadly the crew doesn't have a plan. Underling does so we have a boss fight now. However, Ram shows up in her HDD form. She rescues her sister and Rom transforms. Yep. Rom & Ram are the CPU Candidates of Lowee.
We take on Underling again and she's not as hard. Focus on breaking her guard down and then deliver the killing blow. That's all it takes. With her defeated, she retreats. But we have another fight: against Rom and Ram. Unlike the fight with Uni aka Black Sister, this one you can take on with all of your party members. Take advantage of anything to take them both down. Yes, it sucks but what can you do? Eventually we take them down and they seem to hate us for it.
They return to Lowee and meet with the Oracle of Lowee, Mina Nishizawa. Nepgear hopes to find the power of Lowee's Mascot. Sadly, however she's unable to help. Made worse is that the mascot has its own mission and if it leaves, Lowee is doomed. It's then we learn about the Deity of Sin, Arfoire. Remember Arfoire from the first game? Well since this is set in another universe, this is different. Arfoire was born in Lowee and ASIC is working to revive it. Made worse is that it exists to bring chaos and destruction. Their mission hasn't changed though. It's here we meet Rom and Ram... and the fact that you should NEVER... EVER... piss off Mina. Trust me. Nepgear wants Rom & Ram to help but they don't want to help.
There's nothing they can do. So they depart only to see Underling trying to convince a granny to join ASIC. Fortunately, they are there to stop her. A chase ensues. But then Nepgear meets with Rom. She helps Rom recover her pen. Plus, they know where Underling went, to the World Labyrinth.
We'll be taking care of this in Part 6.
