After their crushing defeat, and Ganondorf having all three pieces of the Triforce, Link and the others head to Gerudo Desert, where Ghirahim and Zant are located. The heat of the desert is draining the energy of the Hylian forces, and there are a large number of enemies to fight off, so it is up to Link, Zelda, and the others in stopping Zant and Ghirahim, along with the help of their allies.

After playing as the villains, it is back to playing as Link, and the next area is Gerudo Desert, and this scenario recommends Light element weapons, so using Link will be your best shot, or you can play as Zelda if you want, but I highly recommend playing as Link.
Ghirahim will be at the North Oasis, and one thing to note is that the desert heat will drain your heart points, so if you capture an Oasis Keep, this will be a safe area. When Ghirahim has taken enough damage, he will start to run away, and once you get through the empty keep, defeating Ghirahim will close the doors, so you have to go through the long route, while Lana is surrounded by enemies.
Zant will appear and close the doors between the desert and Sacred Grounds, so you have to capture Clifftop Keep and defeat the Shield Moblin, as that will open the doors, jump down the cliff and head to were Zant is.
Defeating Zant will open the Central Desert Gates, and go to where Lana is, and a cutscene will happen, and all of our allies will enter the fight, allowing you to play as Darunia, Midna, and Fi, even though Ruto and Agitha appear in the cutscene, they don't appear on the map as well.
Something strange is happening, even after defeating Zant and Ghirahim, there are still some monsters, and with our allies in the fight, they can help out with defeating them. The monsters will head to the Allied Base, so I would have Midna, Darunia, and Fi take on the monsters in all around the map, the most frequent being Shield Moblins and Big Poes.
Keep Saboteurs will also appear, so I would take them out, as they can capture the Oasis Keeps, and the Rally Captain can boost the morale of the Enemy Forces. Next, you want to search every keep to find Ghirahim and Zant, as the ones we defeated were impostors, and the real ones are hiding inside a keep. They should be at the Sacred Grounds, and defeating them will complete the scenario, I would recommend having Link fight those two, as they both have an elemental weakness to Light, and they shouldn't be that tough to take down if you have Link with the Master Sword against them.
The scenario is complete, and for the collectables, the Gold Skulltula is located underneath a boulder outside S. Desert Keep, and the Piece of Heart for Lana is obtained by capturing Central Keep, while the Heart Container for Link is underneath a boulder south of Clifftop Keep, so you will need to blow it up. With Zant and Ghirahim is down, it is time to see what Ganondorf has done with Hyrule, and we must prepare for our final battle.
