Hyrule Warriors A-Ranking. I'm challenging myself to get the A-Ranks without using the power-up potions new to the Twilight DLC.

Okay, so... this is A-4, imo one of the hardest Damage Taken requirements to meet. You're Zant and have to fight off tons of lizards. This video makes Zant look kind of good, but not pictured here is a bunch of stupid stuff slipping into the vulnerable windows in his combo finishers, like getting whacked during the startup of C3 and C6, lizards breathing fire at his feet while geting off the totem pole, 3 or more lizards doing various attacks as he gets off, and an Aeralfos attacking inside me with superarmor while I use C6... and of course when you make actual mistakes like overfilling the Twilight gauge, you'll be lucky to get out of that unscathed.

After getting the A-rank I tried a little more to see if I could get an easier fight at the Allied Base by doing things a bit faster... but when I did, I wound up with a more difficult fight in the West Cannon Keep with up to 4 lizards chasing me down. Maybe I accidentally had a good starting strategy by taking down officers 2 at a time rather than trying to round up everyone at once. And I still can't explain what exactly triggers the Fortifier Captains to suddenly leave; my only guess would be that they already did what they set out to do, which looked like a whole bunch of nothing. Maybe that too was a result of taking things slower. I was only able to get one other A-Rank, which had 3900 damage. I'd definitely need a more solid strategy to get this A-rank with any sort of consistency.

The only other thing I can offer is that at some point you can drop everything and go take out Zelda... since being Darkness element, you can do so very fast, especially with Focus Spirit like I did here. Maybe you can leave a couple of weakened lizards at the Allied Base and still run over and beat Zelda in time. By the way, as I later found out the large magic jar was dropped by Link way back at the start of the level.
