Hyrule Warriors A-Ranking. I'm challenging myself to get the A-Ranks without using the power-up potions new to the Twilight DLC.

I went back to this one because the first time around, I actually used Powered-up items (light arrows) so I could meet the Damage Taken requirement. I consider this one of the worst maps for meeting the Damage Taken requirement despite being able to use Volga; you've got 10 hearts on this one, and 4 scratches will probably make you lose the A-Rank, leaving very little room for error.

I guess the strategy is pretty self-explanatory. I try to go about the level in a way that makes me not have to fight 3 lizards while trying to destroy a Bombchu. When I see a large group of mooks I try to C5 it so I can meet the KOs requirement. It's pretty safe to set up if there's no mooks behind you and the officers are far away. Be careful when juggling with C2, as you can easily get backstabbed while doing so. Don't juggle against the inside wall of an enemy keep for too long, and it might be preferable to add a dash in between C2s so you can keep moving a bit.

I did a bunch of goofy stuff in the second half that makes it look like I don't know what I'm doing... which wouldn't be wrong I guess. I don't really have a set plan for this mission because the time it takes me to deal with key targets really varies, thanks to having to dodge about. It's rare for me to have such a good start though, so I'll take it.

You might notice my weapon has No Healing on it... truthfully, since you're pressured to destroy Bombchus before they explode in your keep the extra damage helps a LOT. I have a 420 power weapon that doesn't have No Healing or Strength III, and it does about 2/3rds the damage against Bombchus, no joke. If you weren't lucky enough to get No Healing, Compatriot, or VS Dragon it may help to try this at a higher level.
