Without these guys I would probably not have played this game.
I would like to encourage the developers of this game to make a native VR adaptation which would be even more awesome. 3rd Person VR adaptations like that of Hellblade is a really good starting point and still a great experience.

My recommended settings to start from:
3D Options: Half SBS (F6)
Screen Size: 120° for 67mm IPD. (Please lower if you experience eye fatigue).
Screen Distance: 7m
Screen Brightness: 10-15%
Screen Curve: 72%
Open VR Options - Super Sampling: 2.4
If you want to watch this on another 3D display you can use Potplayer:
