Death Stranding 2 was officially announced for PS5 at The Game Awards 2022 this week, with a trailer already confirming the return of Sam, Fragile, and teasing of a few other potential characters like Higgs to make a comeback. While gameplay footage on PlayStation 5 remains to be shown, it'll be interesting to see how much Hideo Kojima has learned from the first entry, and the criticisms people had to its large emphasis on traversal. In this video, I look back on the original Death Stranding on PS4, while sharing my own wishes for the story, gameplay, combat, and more. I also do a small breakdown analysis of the trailer, sharing some of my theories for what direction the story could be going into. Enjoy!
