I Didn’t Realize How Badly I Needed Sleep Until I Finally Got Some. Here's What I Did...
Eat. Sleep. Repeat. Boring, but oh-so-effective...(Because You’re Not 25 Anymore.)
Whether you’re newly postpartum or deep in the perimenopause trenches, here’s one truth that hits hard: if you’re not sleeping, you’re not recovering.
Hustle culture is so 2010.
Your body’s been through a lot—pregnancy, birth, sleepless nights, hormone chaos, and maybe now, that perimenopause rollercoaster. And while workouts and nutrition matter, sleep is the missing piece many of us are ignoring.
Postpartum? Your body is still healing. Perimenopause? Your hormones are shifting in ways that make sleep feel like a luxury. Either way, you can’t out-train or out-diet poor rest.
That’s why I’m in bed by 8:30–9:00 PM. Not because I’m boring—because my 4:40 AM alarm is brutal, and I finally realized sleep is the most underrated form of self-care.
(And YES, it took me a LONG time to get here...& I'm NOT going back!)
