I really hate it when I get sick, but then again I don't know anyone who likes it. When I was a kid a sick day meant watching Bob Barker on The Price is Right, Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup, and sometimes some video games. Some things haven't changed, although I don't like Drew Carry as the host of the Price is Right. Well I have a decent chest cold going on right now, so it's time to hunker down, get some medicine in me, and share 3 of my favorite comfort food video games I like to play when I am not feeling well.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
More than a few people assume that because I didn't like Breath of the Wild and never played Tears of the Kingdom I hate Zelda games. That's not true because I love Link to the Past. The story is amazing, I love the graphics, and it is just so darn good to play! This is one of those games that I keep going back to because of how much I love it, and it's also one I find comforting to play when I am sick and I feel terrible.

Yoshi's Crafted World and Yoshi's Whooly World
Whether you have a Nintendo Switch, Switch Lite, Switch OLED, or a Wii U these are 2 amazingly cute and relaxing games to play anytime but especially when you're not feeling well. If you like Little Big Planet this is more of the same as the yarn design is just an amazing-looking aesthetic. The music is also top notch and it's an amazing platformer, even though it may look like a kiddie or baby game it is one of the best you can play.

Ratchet & Clank
The Ratched & Clank series is one of my favorites of all time, and the amazing dialogue that is clever and funny is a joy to listen to. Being able to hear Armin Shimmerman play Dr Nefarious never gets old, nor the fact that there's a Captain Quark not to be confused with Armin's classic Ferengi character, Quark. Any game in the series is good to grab and play, and the fact that there are games on the PSP that you can play from your bed it terrific.

What about you? What comforting games do you play when you're not feeling well? Share your favorites in the comments!
