Finally, I am free from working overnights at my day job! That means it's time to get back into some streaming! Tonight, we are going to be taking on the last of the four Altitude Limit RA records, and now the only one I have left to claim: Altitude Limit Act 2 with Sonic. More info can be found below.

This is one of only three records left in this category that I have not tied or beaten, and I consider it by far to be the most annoying of the three. It's not annoying for the reason you would think, either. There isn't lots of RNG determining your fate, in fact there's only one random ring monitor in the whole stage, but it's what you have to get through in order to have the PRIVILEGE of rolling those 1/5 odds. Let's break it down.

First, you have a long grind rail section that you get launched into via parachute. You have to know about an obscure piece of tech with the parachute in order to get six midair rings right at the start, and if you miss, that's a restart. Then, if you make it to the grind rail, you'll find it to be littered with spikes & enemies getting in between you and your precious rings, requiring you to carefully navigate it to make sure you A: don't get hit, and B: don't miss any rings.

Assuming you make it past the grind rail, you then have to spend some time knocking some enemies out of your way by using a rocket-propelled platform multiple times to get to the one and only shield this level has, then carefully navigate the rest of the section without missing any rings, including a tricky maneuver to reach a hidden treasure trove of rings, to reach the dreaded hang glider. Unlike Act 1, where you are allowed to miss some and still get WR, since getting all of them is virtually impossible, here it is actually feasible to get all of the rings on the hang glider section, so you have to be PERFECT on it.

Then, you have to navigate your way to the end of the level without doing anything stupid just to have the PRIVILEGE of rolling for the 1/5 odds, then assuming you get the luck, having to pass ONE FINAL skill check by getting six tricky to get rings while using the rocket propelled platform, and if you miss any of them, trying to backtrack for them is virtually impossible, so you might as well just reset. It is this combination of factors that make this level so annoying to max out. This is a joint WR held by three players, and unlike the last one I broke on Act 1, this one is fully maxed out and cannot be beaten, only tied.
