Well, I’m glad to be back guys, its been a long time! Now I promised here is where I would explain my absence so here it is. I know I seemingly vanished and stopped creating content out of nowhere, this is because I had gone through some emotional ups and downs with some important personal relationships, as well as allowed my grades to slip in college. To fully focus on bettering myself and improving my grades I needed to focus solely on that as my parents expected better of me and doing well in my studies is the least I could do as my parents had done so much for me. Now thankfully I have graduated cum laude with a bachelors in biochemistry and molecular biology, and am approaching the end of a summer internship with a bioethics director at a local hospital. So I now have plenty of free time and my parents have allowed me to give Youtube an actual try for a while and focus on it. I know I have probably lost a lot of faith with some of you for leaving so suddenly, but I hope through my actions I can earn your trust back and that you’ll join me on this hopefully long and fun journey. I have a lot to say about games and I feel as if there is a lot I can at to the gaming space in terms of viewpoints, discussions, opinions, and analysis.

Hey guys its Keanu from Shepard Gaming and Yup I know, its been a d*** long time. You’re probably wondering where I’ve been and I’ll cover that in the comments where you can ask me questions, but for the sake of keeping this short and sweet as well as being kind of a general update, let’s start off with some of the upcoming content on the channel.
Now before I took my almost a year and a half break, I was doing a mix of news videos, some reviews, and a couple of opinion pieces. Now that’s not going to change for the most part. I’m still going to do some news, when the topic is of personal interest to me, and when it’s a topic I’m passionate about.

Oh yeah and on an ending note, I will not be covering Anthem. I think I can probably leave that as is. I might make a couple videos here and there from time to time about it, actually I have some coming up soon, since I missed a lot of the anthem drama during my year and a half absence, and as someone who was actually considering making anthem a primary aspect of this channel, I think I have a right to talk about it. Before I took time off Youtube Anthem was gaining Hype, now its as dead as its twitch viewers and I have never seen a game fail as hard as that. But other than the ones I’m working on now, you aren’t going to see much about that game on this channel. Also while speaking on Anthem I want to address another topic that maybe either a concern of interest or distaste for some you. I will definitely still make some destiny videos when I have the passion and interest in it. But I don’t think it’ll be to the extent that I was kind of going there for a little while. I still love destiny, and it is one of my favorite franchises right now, and I can’t wait to see what happens with Destiny 3, but I’m someone who enjoys playing a multitude of games. Usually at any given time, I’m playing around 2-3 games. Its very rare for me to find a game that I enjoy so much, that I focus solely on it. Destiny 2 was one of those exceptions when it first launched, and hence led to my plethora of videos and topics addressing it. I still think this new looter shooter genre has a crap ton of potential, as Warframe, monster hunter world, and division 2 have very clearly demonstrated.

Ok guys well that ends my quick update video. I’m super psyched to be back, and I couldn’t be happier to be able to focus on youtube for a little while and see if this is truly something I could see myself doing! I hope you saw some content that you like and I hope that you are just as excited as I am to see what I’m making down the line.
