I Turned Softcore Rust into a MASTERPIECE!!
57The survival game Rust by Facepunch Studios has always had a reputation for being a very difficult game to play that demands a lot of time to master. Some people tried out PVE or RP servers, but the aspects of player vs environment and roleplay Rust servers tend to come with their own flaws.
A game mode called "Softcore" was created as an official attempt by Facepunch to address the concerns of these casual players who want a different experience, but the game mode alone didn't do quite enough to fulfil this demand. However, it did set up the groundwork to be expanded upon by those who will.
In this video, I share with you the changes and additions to the Softcore game mode that I made for my weekly rust server Chaotic Cottage. I am going to discuss how I addressed pvp, raiding, and a... new idea I believe is worth trying out. I hope you will hear out my proposals and will be interested in playing on my server.
