IDOL Ra.De. - No-Miss Clear (Chihaya - 80,120,416)

IDOL Ra.De is a doujin shmup from 2006 made by the doujin circle D.N.A. Software, who you might know for games like Moedan or Touhou Unreal Mahjong. As well as some Madoka Magica fangames.
The game is designed as a 5 minute caravan score-attack mode, much in the vein of Hudson caravan shmups like Star Soldier. You have 5 minutes to score as much as possible and you have infinite lives, but every hit reduces 3 seconds off the clock.
As you might be able to guess, this is basically ESP Ra.De with Idolmaster characters.
Scoring wise this game is essentially Esprade with a Daifukkatsu Black Label rank meter.
Rank goes up over time and goes up a lot if you use the power shot. Rank goes down with bullet cancels and dying.
So for score you want to drive up the rank to max ASAP and then cancel as many bullets as possible while maintaining a x16 chain from hitting enemies with the power shot.
Bullet cancels work like in Espgaluda where the multiplier increases the more bullets are cancelled in a single cancel.
The second half of the stage has some enemies that give screen cancels that are worth a shitton of score if you optimize the cancel (~21 million per cancel).
The time remaining bonus isn't that huge, but there is an enormous 10 million no-miss bonus so you never want to get hit anyway.
The last boss is complete nonsense on max rank, a lot of the patterns don't even seem dodgeable at all. Luckily you can drop the rank to near zero by doing a big bullet cancel near the end. Fighting the boss on max rank isn't even worth that much (couple million at most?), so it's like a huge meme.
The first phase of the midboss is the hardest part of the run because you have to actually dodge it on max rank.
Chihaya seems like the best because her pointblank does absurd amounts of damage.
The producer dude seems to raise rank absurdly fast with his power shot, but he is really hard to use.
Game is a bit of an oddity. I love that it exists but I can't deny that it feels more like a tech demo than anything else, what with it basically having only four enemy types and wildly unbalanced boss patterns.
Also I have no idea if this is abandonware or not at this point, it's not even listed on the D.N.A. Software site anymore.
