I'm not even mentioned in investigations, says Lupi during INSS CPI

🏛 ️ Congressional Power | Former Social Security Minister Carlos Lupi (PDT) began his testimony before the CPMI (Joint Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) this Monday (September 8, 2025) by stating that he "never covered up" illegal embezzlement in INSS (National Social Security) pension payments.
According to Lupi, his name "is not even mentioned" in the investigations conducted by the PF (Federal Police).
The minutes of the CNPS (National Social Security Council) meetings show that Lupi was alerted to the increase in unauthorized deductions from pensions in June 2023, but it took 10 months for him to take any action. The estimated losses from the fraud are R$6.5 billion from 2019 to 2024.
