The International Monetary Fund has raised the alarm bells for the global economy. It has cut its forecast for global growth next year to 2.7%, from 2.9% seen in July. The international body says that it sees a 25% probability that growth will slow to less than 2%. The IMF has highlighted that efforts to manage the highest inflation in decades may add to the damage from the war in Ukraine and China's slowdown. The international body has also cut India's GDP growth forecast for the next year by 60 basis points to 6.8%.
