[EDIT] OBS, the capture software I used, seems to duplicating odd frames and dropping even (interpolated) frames [/EDIT]

It doesn't look like adding an extra frame, a 50%/50% blend of the previous and current frame, in-between every two frames produces a noticeably smoother result, but it does produce a stable 60 fps framerate without frame doubling (I think).

In actual gameplay it does feel smoother, but then again I might be imagining it.
