mdnghtmlnchly falls under one of my favorite categories in this game, that being atmospheric. Like kidsmoke and smohcs for me, it induces a feeling of melancholy, with lugubrious visuals and character that take the mind onto a journey and back. This level never ceases to amaze me with its charm and character, and for a first level, Efrxim did a fantastic job.

The gameplay was pretty good, and flowed with the music well and consistently, which I can appreciate. My only gripe with it is that it feels a bit unbalanced, with parts like the ship at 15% feeling like a daunting task to do... along with personally inconsistent clicks like 24%, 45%, 48% and 77% due to me clicking a bit too early without good reaction time. The good news however, is that it brushes off with enough time and practice, so your experience will likely go better than mine in terms of consistency.
