In this video I look at installing Windows 11 with a Local Account during the Windows 11 Out of the Box Experience Setup. This option is important for example when setting up Windows 11 as a small OEM, when the customers Microsoft Account Details aren't known. However this option has been hidden by Microsoft as they want to strong-arm users into using Microsoft Accounts.
To bypass the Microsoft Account screen during the OOBE setup. Press Shift + F10 to open the Command Prompt. Notice the Accessibility options now opens settings and a temporary Local Account is used. Use this to disable your wireless card. Then press Shift + F10 and input OOBE\BYPASSNRO then allow the computer to reboot. During the Setup, select I don't have Internet. Once your have finished the OOBE setup, open up Settings and re-enable your wireless card.
