If you are interested in 3D scanning, but on the fence on what to buy or even how to do it. Join me for about 50 minutes as I give a tutorial on the best practices in scanning with the Occipital Structure Sensor, or 3DS iSense using the soon to be released "BioStep Capture." and various of accessories like 4eyes, NEODiMOUNT(s) and the upcoming NEODiBRIGHT lighting system.
Updates and Corrections:
Here is the links to purchase NEODi and 4eyes products:
I mentioned counterclockwise, when I meant to say clockwise is the direction in covering the UI controls in "BioStep Capture"
I want to stress the most accurate way to capture textures with BioStep Capture is to start you scan facing the most important part of you object. The is especially true with human faces. In the past before RGBD, you would need to ensure you captured the greatest depth disparity, which seemed to be a 3/4 profile.
The iPod Touch 6G only has a 4.3" screen not 4.7" I was stating. This is the screen size of the iPhone 6. The iphone 6+ has a 5.5" size screen.
