How To Change EQ For Background Sounds In iOS 26:
Step 1: Go to Settings on your iPhone, scroll down and tap "Accessibility".
Step 2: Under the 'Hearing' section, tap on "Audio & Visual". Here, select "Background Sounds". They should be 'Off' by default.
Step 3: Toggle Background Sounds ON if not already enabled. Choose a sound (e.g., Balanced Noise, Rain, Stream, Dark Noise) and adjust it's volume using the slider below the "Sound" option.
Step 4: After selecting a background sound, scroll all the way down and tap "EQ" (available in iOS 26 only). It is disabled by default.
Step 5: Toggle the EQ option ON and select either Comfort or Focus.
Step 6: Use the manual axis slider for low, mid, and high frequencies) to manually raise or lower frequency bands for full control.
Step 7: Use the "Balance" slider to focus the sound either on the Left or on the Right.
