1This is going to be a nice "chill" Factorio run. I tend toward "build big" and want this to continue for a very long time, probably well into megabase territory. I've punched Richness to maximum and Size up to 300% to reduce the "run around and build more mines" chores. Biters and pollution are turned off as they are a minor annoyance and a UPS limiting factor later.
I've turned off Cliffs. I actually like what they do to the game in general, but for this playthrough I want to be able to pander to my need for symmetric and regular layouts.
I have set up a modest collection of mods that I consider to be "quality of life" and am avoiding mods that significantly change the game.
