Hi! Thanks for clicking on the video. Messing around with the new 10 min Tiktok format for videos. Re-editted the video for brevity and pacing, along with redid the visuals for a mobile format. Youtube has a 1min limit to shorts, so uploading as a full sized video. Contents are largely the same as the original video. Removed some parts about Chaos theory and some examples about entropy in heat flow.

Figured since I already had the content, might as well upload to both platforms.

Was fun messing around with the difference in formats between Tict ok (which encourages brevity) and Youtube (which encourages video length).

In this video we go over Isaac Asimov's short story "The Last Question" and entropy. After a short summary of the story, we go over the 2nd law of Thermodynamics, what is entropy, and how entropy over time will lead to the Heat Death of the Universe.

We also go over how these physics/scientific concepts play a role in the short story, which covers the entirety of human history, as humanity, and a super computer evolve and change until the end of time. Eventually solving the age old question of "why did entropy reverse itself" at the beginning of time, during the big bang? Which then lead to the existence of the physical universe and the expansion of space time
