Item Proximity Sensor -- Unreal Engine Blueprint
Making a blueprint actor component which can scan the surroundings for a specific item, and then report results back via the HUD. Distance to the item could be mapped to the frequency of a beeping sound, for example, to indicate to the player that they are getting closer to what they are looking for.
