Jammie Sandwiches

1 cup softened Butter
½ cup packed Brown Sugar
½ cup Sugar
1 large Egg
1½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
2 Tbsp Milk
3¾ cups Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
½ tsp. Salt
Red, Orange, Purple, and Yellow Jellies
Blue and Red Sprinkles
White and Green Icing

Beat together butter and sugars. Add in egg, vanilla, and milk. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt separately and then mix into liquid. Roll dough in plastic wrap and chill for 1-2 hours.
Cut into circles and bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes. Cool, then cut designs into half of the cookies. Make cookie sandwiches by spreading an uncut cookie with jelly, sprinkles, and icing as desired, then topping with a cut cookie that has also been decorated as desired.
