At last, Japanese School Life is culminating and I never have to touch this roller coaster of an experience again in my life. Until I achievement whore it anyway. ONLY 2 MORE NEEDED. By the end of this episode, all of your questions will be answered regarding who is the best waifu, whether Brian is still a piece of shit, if he leaves to go back to the US, and many others. I know all of you have been awaiting the riveting conclusion to this series and I am glad that I can finally bring it to you. Now, I know many of you will be missing this incredible game soooo much on my channel, but I promise I will be bringing other great content to you that will hopefully fill the void that this gem will leave. Pls don’t unsub.

This series honestly isn’t even part of NRF anymore at this point, I even removed any episode following my review from the playlist. Since this is the case, I won’t be posting the little blurb about what New Release Friday is, but if you haven’t already checked out some of the other games that have been part of the series then please do. It makes me happy when I see the new series doing well on my channel, so unless you want to make me sad, well you get it. This is easily the most dedicated I have been to being consistent on my channel and I plan to keep it this way until it is even more sustainable, at which point I will up the ante and hopefully start an even more frequent upload cycle. So, stick around if that sounds sick. Or get the fuck out if that sounds annoying. I don’t need you.

Alright, seriously though; let’s take a look at this final episode and try to bullshit about it for a little bit. I tried to slow down a little in the editing and actually make it more absorbable for the viewers since there was a lot of dialogue and it actually had meaning. I also made sure to read every line I could to make less reading on you douches. Obviously I can’t read the waifu’s lines because they never shut the fuck up, but you can read that yourself; it’s not like I do audio books for a living. My voice isn’t nearly dreamy enough for that. The best part of this entire episode is probably the dialogue honestly, because I have finally accepted the cringe and just morphed it into whatever I felt like saying.

This game will always find a way to cram in a history lesson for you, even at the most ridiculous spots. Like, we are getting all emotional and talking about how much all these moments we spent over the last couple years meant to us and they start talking about all these different historical things regarding Kyoto or something. (I am honestly not 100% because I kinda spaced out and am too lazy to rewatch it just for the clarity of this sentence, but you get it.) Also, Brian is an idiot when it comes to buying gifts. Arisa specifically said that she wanted sweets so he bought her a fucking scrunchie. If anything he should have bought her some of those sour straws, that way she could have either ate them or used them as a hair tie. Nope. Just a scrunchie. The aromatherapy kit was an alright idea for Chiyoko I guess since she is normally stressing the fuck out, but he could have also just finally been straightforward, told her she was the best waifu he could ask for and gave her a big bag of condoms.

The ending kind of made me wonder if they are planning some sort of sequel. When you wrap it up and he talks about his choice, he ends up mentioning that when he comes back it will be for his chosen girl. Now, I don’t know if they are planning on the same format as before or what but holy crap, they need to learn some shit about writing and design before moving forward with a Japanese School Life 2. As I have said multiple times, you either are making an educational tool or a dating sim visual novel. You can’t have the best of both words by half-assing each of them. The game was relatively cheap, so I can’t be too butthurt since I did get a lot of episodes out of it and some of you seemed to enjoy it. That being said, I wouldn’t buy the next release… probably at all, unless the viewers were desperate for more.

Lastly, why is Chiyoko crowned best waifu 2016? Well, mostly because I haven’t played any other games that would justify crowning a waifu. But in this universe specifically, she is just the least insane and idiotic. Arisa is cute, don’t get me wrong. And she can be sweet, but Jesus she is an idiot and seems pretty judgmental of Brian’s hobbies. I also think that Chiyoko is just generally more attractive in every way. She has got smarts, titties, dark hair, and the works. Now, she does have her flaws as far as being a total square and sorta no fun police style. But I can deal if it means not being consumed by Arisa’s snaggle tooth.
