If I did not make it clear... Control-R to reload the jbeam after making a change in Notepad, so that it refreshes the changes in the game. (If you have the game running at the same time you are editing the jbeam like seen in this video)

Oh, also need to point out, in the mod you get here, the thruster is already applied. Break and Gas for the activation. Gas spins it, and if its reset and standing up, break will launch it to the sky.
