0The Halloween patch is out and I can finally have a matching non-rotating map & minimap! Getting rid of the critical condition screen effect was fantastic as well, and I can imagine anyone who still uses one of the NPC partners would really enjoy getting 'em to quiet down a bit.
After a ton of wandering we finally reach the first boss of the area, and while cheesable, he's a good bit tougher than some of the earlier midbosses. Soon after that, we further accessorize with some of the new options for this patch (and it seems the costs of each accessory went down a bit as well).
So when we got to "that" memory it sure sounded like I understood right away what was going on, didn't it? Nope! - I thought it was just a coincidence. I'm smart like that. They spent so much time making you look like a side character White Knight Chronicles-style that I didn't quite figure it out at first.
