0Tinkered with the design of the code mechanism for a bit, but after getting a bit frustrated with it, I switched back to working on that dark map. The combination system might not be super practical or reasonable to make - it occurred to me that the safe cracker map only really needs one functional combination, so it would be much less complex to create.
The dark map (named "The Galoomba General") has you chase a galoomba into their airship to try to thwart their invasion of the Mushroom Kingdom. Unfortunately, that airship happens to be filled with horrible traps & mechanisms. I really like how it turned out - plenty of time to complete, a good bit of difficulty, and a couple of great bosses.
