After roughly a week away from the game it's time to get warmed up with a hefty boss fight (and hoping I remember anything about the controls -- I'm definitely not good at this type of shmup). Afterwards, I almost immediately hit a roadblock with a couple of incredibly difficult missions. One in particular has you making an air-to-sea assault against a bunch of warships and it forced me to finally get decent at fighting stuff down low.

The final boss turned out to be pretty cool, although pretty easy (especially once RNG decided to hand it to me).

Overall, game was really fun, and I hear that NG+ has a bunch of extra stuff (both new modules and new missions. Maybe new bosses, too?).
