Jerp plays Ori and the Will of the Wisps pt.5 - End (2020-05-18)
More browsing around the frozen tundra and making good use of the Light Burst ability (I still find it funny that I spent so much time trying to light a lamp without it!). After warming things up a bit and getting the next wisp, we head back West and have another, much less fortunate encounter with Kwolok.
The final dungeon in the game is kind of interesting - much less linear than the first, and I think it kind of lost the more constructed, somewhat ritualistic feel it had. The eventual fight against Shriek was great - both in its presentation and the music.
I do think there's some unanswered questions like what was the worm chase all about. I also think many of the NPC's could've been a bit better developed - I realized that it feels like they were given only enough development time to make them basic questgivers, and I feel like they could've contributed a lot more to the game's story.
Overall though, I think the game was great. I wonder what's next for Moon Studios (spinoff game w/a new spirit guardian?).
