Jet X2O is not without its flaws. The most immediate one you will see starting out on the earlier tracks and easier difficulties are that the obstacles on the tracks and the ramp placement isn't always thought through. Especially for big jumps, it often feels like your slow starter craft will launch off a ramp only to crash into rocks below. As well, you cannot 'interact' with the AI like you can in other games like this. The AI are on their own paths and if you hit them, they will just continue on, dragging you with them as you desperately attempt to turn into a shortcut or a jump. I mentioned it in my Let's Play from forever ago and I'll restate: you need to get in front of the AI so you have smooth riding, or else you'll be trapped in the middle of their pack.
Onto Luc Lamouche: He's a high-flying racer and (despite not having the highest trick stat per se) is one of the best riders for tricking. He just throws out tricks faster than everyone else, and I can easily work in another trick or two into any jump compared to the other characters. His special trick are great too, with one longer single-animation trick, then 2 short-medium tricks that you can quickly do off most ramps, and a hold trick as well that won't cause your craft to tilt around in the air. His craft, the Mastermind, is a bit squirrely since it has a high handling stat to start. "Quick but erratic", as the craft's bio states, is accurate.
Delta Faktor: This is one of the more low-key tracks in the game, but it makes up for it in sheer amount of alternate paths. You'll be seeing branching paths splitting off of branching paths in this level. Also, the score requirements are very low - I believe it's the only level where the expert mode score to beat can be less than 100,000 points.
