One other minor complaint I have about the game is that it starts to dock points from tricks if you do them more than once, even if you do other tricks in that jump or do flips/barrel rolls to make your overall trick different. You can especially see this in special tricks, where your 15,000 point trick suddenly becomes, like, only 12-13 thousand points the next time you do it. This definitely discourages you from doing special tricks repeatedly, but at least to me, going for those are part of the fun of these games. You'll also realize by now that none of the characters' special tricks involve really interacting with the crafts aside from grabbing onto it in different places. In SSX, Freekstyle, and other games where you had over-the-top tricks, you truly defied physics and wrangled your vehicle of choice all around you in different ways. Here in Jet X2O, it really becomes noticeable that they had to work around this limitation. Vladi's tricks are fairly unique, but look for repetitions in the next couple characters.

Permafrost: A nice level that has THE biggest jump in the entire game, plus many other great opportunities. There are some insanely slow alternate paths though, and also some shortcuts at the end that are somewhat obscure and also favorites of the AI. If you're suddenly struggling to keep up at the end of this race, you may have to figure out how the AI are getting ahead...or you can watch my vid where I show you the cool shortcuts.

To Vladi: He's the 'heavier, very stable' character of the game. Could be a good choice for people who are having trouble getting tossed around by the tracks. His special tricks are all set-animation tricks - no hold tricks here. 3 of his tricks are longer animations (BodySlam, Si-Lo, CannonGrab), with one shorter trick (SleeperHold). Actually, the Si-Lo is fairly quick for the number of points it gets. His tricks really tilt the crafts around, so you will see some physics/momentum effects on flipping/barrel rolling if you add those in. His low trick stat means you need to be thoughtful about what you can do off a jump, and I don't really feel like I have a good handle on how to play him well.

His craft: The Counterforce is big, heavy, but really isn't that slow. The handling isn't terrible either - in the same vein as Taylor and Eva's as "loose, but good enough". See what I mean about Karin's craft being awful? Even the 'slow' signature crafts are fast enough to win if you know the tracks well, and everything else can at least TURN at base stats. There are no straightaways long enough to justify struggling at every turn with the Valkyrie.
