27Howdy Leafs Nation from out here in beautiful Barkerville British Columbia - where I bleed blue. This song, and it's title are a gift to all of you. I wrote this song last night and I gotta say, history may prove me wrong, but it was my firm belief that I wanted this team to win it's first playoff round against BOSTON.
It's time for revenge! I know they got it in them. I know Boston is scared. I know I am taking a risk in making a prediction. But I make one promise, for every game we win there I will write a new Maple Leafs jingle for all of you. I drink BLUE...I bleed BLUE!!
I was a Leafs fan when it wasn't cool. I weathered the hard years, as did many of you. I found joy in small things like Sundin's marvelous career. I learned to accept defeat as a fan and love my team even though my home province is now so far away. The last time we played Boston I had no expectations...but I see a future with this team...if we don't get those Bruins now...DON'T WORRY!! We'll get em eventually...this team is gonna be good for a long time. In the meantime...please subscribe to my channel...and I promise to reward you with Maple Leafs songs until the playoff run is done!!
