In this episode of my ongoing adventures into deep space, we check out the new Kerbal Space Program version 0.17, the version that has planets other than Kerbin and new moons around those planets. I already visited Eve and its moon Gilly on my own, so for this episode we are traveling to the moon of the mysterious desert planet Duna.

Duna. Arrakis. Desert planet. ;) Just kidding, I don't expect to find any sandworms or spice on Duna, though I would be very pleased to find kethane on its cool moon Ike once I get the kethane plug-in installed. Initially our target is that very moon, Ike, and then in future sessions we will go to Duna itself if our rockets remain hot and our inertial guidance remains true and our fuel tanks still have reaction mass and our kerbalnauts remain ridiculously and foolhardily brave in the face of yearlong missions in a tin can. ;)
