There comes a time when nothing less will do, but to violate the laws of Man, God and Kerbal and create a nuclear powered scientific abomination. A nuclear powered, interplanetary spaceplane. May future generations of Kerbals forgive us for what we must now do, in order that we might have the coolest toys. ;)

In the last episode, many Kerbals died in testing the Gorgon interplanetary spaceplane, which eventually after many dead Kerbals did succeed in making orbit. In this episode, we have a fatal encounter with a Space Kraken, but through the power of quicksaves and attending Kraken Management Seminars, we are able to get to Jool. Hudby Kerman swallows his courage pills, and probably takes a strong shot of whatever Kerbals drink, as we prepare to attempt to fly the mysterious atmosphere of the ocean moon of Jool.

The craft file for this spaceplane is unlikely to work unless you have the exact mix of mods that I have, some of which are old mod parts from like 0.14 or something, but if you want to give it a try you can download it at http://www.lizardboys.com/Gorgon%2013.zip
As far as I recall, it will require the Angara rocket pack, the probodobodyne construction kit (an old version, the newer one does not have the little struts that I used), and probably some others that I am forgetting.
