Get Ready!

Generally called "Bombuzal" everywhere else, the SNES game was renamed to "Ka-blooey" in the states. It's a port of the relatively popular 1988 Bombuzal designed by Anthony Crowther for Commodore 64 and Atari ST. It was released for several other platforms including Amiga and MS-DOS. The N64 game, "Charlie Blast's Territory" was meant to be a remake of Bombuzal, and "The Bombing Islands" for Playstation is as well (both are released by Kemco and the N64 game was re-made by Scott Kim).

The premise of the game is to remove all the bombs from each level without being killed or running out of time in the process. There are a variety of tile types and different bombs, and many stages to master. It features "cute" graphics and an even cuter (more like creepy) protagonist, with an isometric view and decent music/sounds.
