Kabuki Klash (alt) [Arcade] - play as Manto Ace
This is a playthrough using Manto Ace in the Arcade version of Far East of Eden: Kabuki Klash. Read on below for more information...
Manto Ace is the first boss of the game. He is an unplayable character in the original NeoGeo MVS and AES versions of the game; however he is an unlockable playable character in the Neo-Geo CD version of it.
===== ABOUT MANTO ACE =====
Manto Ace is a character who appears in the Tengai Makyo series, and he is a "know-it-all" character. In Kabuki Klash, judging by his special moves, he could possibly have been "inspired" by Ryu/Ken from Street Fighter.
Function-wise, he is the "virtually complete" boss out of the four in the game, meaning that he has moves and animation/sprites for every state (jumping, crouching, dashing, crawling, etc.). The only thing he is missing is an alternate colour palette. Here is the information on him:
---- Interestingly, he actually has personal win quotes against the other three bosses, despite being an unplayable character (as all four bosses are non-selectable, there cannot be an instance where they fight each other).
---- If he uses the universal Dash LP+LK move, he performs a spinning Psycho Crusher style attack.
---- If he uses the universal "Weapon Throw/Drop" move in the air, he performs the spinning Psycho Crusher style attack angled downwards.
---- He has a special move (QCF + LK) where he jumps forward, latches onto the opponent and bites him/her twice. For some reason, this move doesn't inflict any damage. However if the CPU-controlled Manto does it, it DOES inflict damage.
---- He has a super move.
---- He can be affected by the items.
---- If you manage to beat the game with him, he uses Kinu's ending.
---- In the original version of the game, he only has one colour palette.
===== OTHER INFORMATION =====
---- He is an unlockable playable character in the NeoGeo CD version of the game.
