This is a playthrough using Orochi Chris and Ramon in the PS2 version of The King of Fighters: Neowave. Read on below for more information...

Orochi Chris and Ramon are both hidden-but-immediately-available characters.

NOTE: Max gauge used for this playthrough. It is a feature you can enable within the Game Option screen.

===== HOW TO SELECT THEM =====

-- For Orochi Chris, on the character select screen: Highlight regular Chris and hold R1. O.Chris will appear whenever R1 is held on Chris. Therefore with R1 held, press any attack button to select O.Chris.

-- For Ramon, on the character select screen: Highlight Maxima and hold R1. Ramon will appear whenever R1 is held on Maxima. Therefore with R1 held, press any attack button to select Ramon.

===== ABOUT OROCHI CHRIS =====

Pretty much the same deal as in KOF2002. As always, Orochi Chris has distinct and unique colour palettes, as well as a unique neutral stance. The neutral stance is different to the ones in '97 and '98. In gameplay he is pretty easy to use as he has a fireball and dragon punch (not that those kinds of moves automatically make a character easy to use, but surely almost every fighting game player knows how to play Ryu).

===== ABOUT RAMON =====

Probably the same as in KOF2002. Due to the type of special and super moves Ramon has, he is a character that you need practice with in order to use him effectively. He made his debut into the KOF series in KOF2000.

===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA =====

---- Both appear as hidden characters in all versions of the game.

---- They do not appear as opponents in the regular single-player modes of the game.

---- Chris has different images for his portraits and icons.

---- In the lore, Ramon has the hots for Vanessa.

---- The game's character artwork was produced by Tomokazu Nakano, who had produced artwork for the Power Instinct games.

===== ABOUT KOF NEOWAVE =====

The game is basically a drastically altered version of KOF2002 with many different and extra features, one of the most significant being the inclusion of an all-new AOF2 version of Geese Howard as the game's end boss. Neowave is a Dream Match, meaning that it is non-canonical and not counted in the new numeral progression of the series, which KOFXI started. The game was developed specifically to test the Atomiswave hardware.
