Kerbal Space Program Modular Launch Pads v2.0 Dev Demo: Shuttle Pad Hydrogen Vent Arm
Next phase of the shuttle pad for v2.0 of Modular Launch Pads is the intertank access and arm structure on the Fixed Service Structure. The core structure is done (minus some detail bits), and have just added the gaseous hydrogen vent arm, which is the outlet for hydrogen gas that boils off from the LH2 tank and into the intertank section.
The vent arm stays connected to the external tank during a launch countdown, and is disconnected and falls downward at the moment of liftoff.
Next to be added is the intertank access arm, which is used to by the pad workers to connect the vent arm to the outlet plate on the intertank; it is retracted about 5 days before launch.
