In this video, we start the game in Critical Mode. This is the most difficult mode, where enemies do more damage and the player does less. However, it is not without its perks. For one thing, the player gets two additional command slots right off the bat, which is a very good thing. For another, it is easiest to unlock the secret ending in this mode. The trophy for clearing the game on critical requires completing the entire story and the secret episode on Critical.
After we start the game, the opening movie plays (time 1:07). Strange; it looks almost exactly like the title movie. Utada's vocal "Simple and Clean PlanIt B Remix" is supposed to play here, but that draws video-blocking claims like wildfire, so I have the instrumental "Sanctuary" from Kingdom Hearts II.
After the movie, a scene plays on Destiny Islands (time 4:05). First, we see a dissatisfied young man. Then, we see an older man in a familiar-looking cloak. He has brought a blond boy that bears a striking resemblance to Roxas. The blond boy has a Dive to the Heart sequence, which results in him being able to use a familiar weapon. I don't like the older man's smile...
