Previously, Ventus defeated the Mad Treant, the first boss of his part of the story in Dwarf Woodlands. Before continuing with Terra and Ventus's tales, we will now go back and start Aqua's part of the story.
After reloading from the prologue save, we soon reach the character selection screen (time 2:38). We now begin Aqua's story.
Afterwards, we cut to the assembly hall in the Land of Departure's castle (time 3:26). The initial scene here plays out the same.
When the scene is over, we control Aqua in battling the tainted orbs of light (time 5:36).
At the end of this battle, Aqua gains a bonus (time 6:34). She gains a Max HP increase and learns the Spellweaver command style. This activates with the use of different types of magic.
When this is done, the Keyblade duel between Terra and Aqua will play out as it did for other characters (time 6:57). Poor Terra.
The next scene in the assembly room starts with Aqua receiving some further instruction from Master Eraqus (time 9:37). Then, the master receives a call and sends Terra and Aqua on their way. After Terra leaves, there will be a bit more between Aqua and Master Eraqus (time 13:09).
Out in the Forecourt, we view the departure scene from Aqua's perspective (time 14:32). Ventus's rash reaction alarms Master Eraqus for some reason, so Aqua is given a new parameter for her assignment.
Upon departing, Aqua forms a D-Link with Ventus and Terra (time 15:57).
As Aqua reaches the world map, the Land of Departure's Command Board is unlocked (time 16:20). Her first world, the Castle of Dreams, is now unlocked.
Aqua begins with the battle commands Blizzard, Quick Blitz, and Thunder. She learns the auto-abilities Scan from Quick Blitz and Zero EXP from Blizzard right away. Her block action, Barrier, blocks commands from all sides, kind of like Reflect. Her dodging action is Cartwheel. She also starts with the shotlock Bubble Blaster. Her inital Keyblade is Rainfell.
Among her initial review, she looks over her Reports (time 19:06).
Before heading to the Castle of Dreams, Aqua will play the Command Board to get the Ragnarok shotlock.
