Previously, Davilas completed Quest 070, the Level 45 Martial Artist task. Now, he will finish off the Martial Artist vocation quests.

In Juretto, he talks to Yaan at D-6 once more (time 0:26). He issues Quest 071, the Level 50 Martial Artist task. He does not give Davilas a book this time. Instead, he sends Davilas directly to Ronda Ice Cave in Rangao Mountains.

So, Davilas zooms off to Glen (time 1:44). Outside of town, he rides the carriage northeast to the Ogre starting village, Rangao (time 2:16). Then, in Rangao Mountains, he heads to Ronda Ice Cave at A-3 (time 3:52).

Just inside the cave entrance, he must turn south at F-2 (time 4:27). This straightforward path leads down into the depths of the cave.

At E-4 on level B2, Davilas finds a black chest containing a Blue Eye (time 6:06).

Down on B3, he locates a teleportal (time 6:27). It leads him into a boss room, where he and Yaan come across Gaurado. Gaurado transforms into a monster wielding a ball and chain! Yaan volunteers Davilas to deal with him.

So, Davilas and his party have to fight Magic Fighter Gaurado (time 9:38). Look out for his tension boosts. Also, be careful of War Cry, which can stun party members. A sage with Disruptive Wave just might come in handy here.

Another scene takes place after the battle (time 11:54). Yaan finishes the job on Gaurado. When Gaurado disappears, he leaves behind a note. Yaan asks Davilas to meet him at the Coliseum in Rakkaran.

After the scene, Davilas uses an Evac-U-Bell to get out of the cave (time 15:35). Back in Glen, he takes the train to Rakkaran (time 16:54).

In Rakkaran, he speaks to Gurara at C-6 in front of the Coliseum (time 19:11). When Davilas says Yes, she will escort him inside for a one-on-one match against Yaan.

A scene occurs as Davilas enters the arena to confront Yaan (time 20:15).

After the scene, Davilas must fight Yaan one-on-one (time 21:02). Bring plenty of healing items, such as Amor Seco Essences. The Warrior ability Lost Attack, which is learned at 40 skill points in Courage, is a good way to deplete some of the tension that Yaan loves. This is especially important when Yaan raises his tension right to the max. The good news is that Yaan will frequently waste a turn. However, Yaan will also use Meditation to restore about 180 HP. Also, he will sometimes use Multifists. This will be especially dangerous when Yaan is at max tension.

I doubt that you are locked into using Martial Artist here. A Paladin with the Coup de Grâce unlocked may be helpful, as may a Sage with Disruptive Wave.

Another scene occurs after the battle (time 25:41). Conceding defeat gracefully, Yaan rewards Davilas with the Proof of Martial Artist badge. This allows the bearer to counterattack occasionally, which is pretty nice. Quest 071 complete!

After Yaan departs, the final montage for the Martial Artist vocation quests plays (time 28:21).

Afterwards, Davilas reaches Martial Artist Level 51 (time 28:56).

Back in Glen, he changes vocations to Level 30 Thief so that this vocation will receive some support experience (time 31:02). He rests at home before signing off. Next, he will begin leveling up his Thief vocation for the Thief vocation quests.
