KH Re:Chain of Memories R/R (PS4) - Dragon Maleficent (No HP+ Proud) *No Sleights/No Damage*
With Sora all done its time to move on to Riku in Reverse/Rebirth. First things first, as mentioned at the end of the video, unlike with Sora you cannot play the game with 80 HP. On the console remake, your DP upgrade is locked until you beat Hollow Bastion and your AP can only be upgraded every few levels. Because of this and the large amount of EXP Maleficent drops, you have no choice to but upgrade Riku's HP twice. On one of my previous playthroughs I did manage to get to and beat Maleficent while still at Lv1 but it didn't matter, I still leveled up 3 times putting me at Lv4. So with that in mind I will still treat this as "No HP+" since I won't be upgrading HP anymore after this boss.
Since most of Riku's bosses are the same as Sora, I don't be going into detail about them since I already did with Sora. Instead I will be using these videos to talk about Riku's mechanics, exclusive strategies and making use of his pre-made decks. Every video (or at least as many as I can) there will be a "Topic of the video" at the bottom of the description. These will talk about mechanics unique to Riku and how to make use of them. Like with Sora I will be enforcing a "No Sleight" restriction, I'll also be restricting Duels in the future since they admittedly break Riku's story.
Riku's deck in Hollow Bastion is good, at least for what you will encounter in this world. It starts with a 9, descends by 2 and then goes up by 1 and repeats. (9,8,7,8,7,6,7,6,5,ect...) For this boss I recommend only using the first 2 sets for combos and then reloading. Other then that there is not much else.

Topic of the video: "Instant Reload"
Unlike Sora, Riku doesn't have to charge his deck to reload. The very moment you click on that reload card, your deck goes through the shuffle animation and comes back. This makes your sometimes very limited deck much more usable and with the Shortcut command you can cycle through your deck and reload extremely fast and basically always have good cards. Learning to take full advantage of shortcuts and the instant reload is very tough and requires a ton of deck management.
There is something to note however, if you try and reload your deck immediately after playing a card, there is a chance that card won't reload because is it still "on the field". This is very common when reloading after a Duel so its recommended that you just wait a second so you have no cards in play.
