KH Re:coded - Bug Data-Roxas (LV1 Critical) *No Damage/No Commands*
Unless someone can provide me with a way to get quick access to the Bug Riku fight without just giving me a pre-made save, this will be the last video of Recoded.
This... Is a dumb fight... There is a reason this took so long for me to get recorded and my (lack of) SP should be a sign that this was not easy. He has a ton of health and the various buffs granted to bugged enemies makes this basically impossible to do damageless unless you abuse Targeting Scope. The main strat is to keep your Overclock high but never fill it completely so you can keep Targeting Scope forever. I'll explain what the bug colors do when I talk about each phase but note that around every 2 to 3 bars of damage he powers up to the next bug level and gets strong.
First phase is blue. Blue enemies as far as I can tell are basically no different from normal other then being key enemies to complete the floor. Since he is still normal, take this time abusing Block Charger to build your Overclock to MAX. He has enough HP that you should trigger Targeting Scope just shortly before he powers up to yellow.
Yellow enemies gain a massive speed boost and this makes them honestly one of, if not the most annoying bug color. This is the phase took up most of my practice and testing. He does his first Desperation Move in this phase so keep your Overclock high so you have a buffer for him wasting the gauge.
Third phase has him turn red which removes his speed buff but gives him total super armor. This is honestly the easiest phase since he can't keep up with you, just don't use your finisher. He uses his DM twice in this phase and the second time is the stronger version.
Once he is has a little less then a bar, he turns green, the final bug color. On top of the super armor from the last phase, he becomes gigantic and his health doubles. This phase is incredibly annoying because it can just end your run and you have no control over it. While his run speed is normal, his animations and hitboxes scale with his size. So many of my near-successful attempts were ruined by this phase basically teleporting across the arena and hitting me with his gigantic hitboxes.

This is being played on the DeSmuME emulator. I don't have a DS/3DS capture card nor do I have the funds to get one. I am also using a high resolution 3D renderer at X3 setting to make the footage much cleaner.
