This is where I believe the bosses start getting good. After dealing with BBS and DDD for my past couple playthroughs, it's nice to get back to proper boss fights with avoidable attacks, openings and don't have super armor on everything. Pretty much every boss from this point onward is why I actually consider this one of the better KH games.

This fight is pretty easy and straightforward. Just wait for him to attack and respond appropriately. If he rolls the explosive, reflect it and attack when he is stunned. If he throws fire crackers, just attempt to attack him and roll away from the explosions. Don't try to counter his shockwave because it can hit you through your Guard and he can super armor through your attacks.

Nothing really changes in the second phase. He gains his new DM which you can easily avoid by roll spamming in a circle and his shockwave no longer creates blox.

My equipment is setup in a particular way. I am using the Olympia with its Overclock Lv2 set to Attack Upgrade. Normally this means you would get your finisher after only maxing out 2 gauges but Pete is too slow of a boss to fill your Overclock in any way. I am also using the secret accessory "Energy Earring", which you can get from an optional system sector in Agrabah by falling into one of the pits. It makes your Overclock gauge fill up slightly when you block. With this accessory and the slow pace of the fight, you can maintain Lv2 Overclock and the Attack Upgrade ability the entire fight.

This is being played on the DeSmuME emulator. I don't have a DS/3DS capture card nor do I have the funds to get one. I am also using a high resolution 3D renderer at X3 setting to make the footage much cleaner.
