Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix (PS4) - Twilight Thorn (LV1 Critical) *No Damage*
Finally time for KH2FM. I mainly put this off for so long because out of all KH games, this is the one with the most videos and guides so I didn't feel I could really add anything to the table. The other games are much more scarce on LV1 guides so I did them first. Also, this is NOT an easy game at LV1, KH2 has no form of EXP Zero scaling what-so-ever and no abusable exploits. The only form of damage scaling is an inherit part of the game's damage calculation and it only scales you up enough so you can actually deal damage. Your scaled damage output is still significantly lower then it would be normally and is nothing like 1.5 or BBS's extreme level of scaling.
This is also a very long game and anybody who has played KH2 can tell you that this game has a ludicrous amount of forced enemy encounters, both normal enemies and bosses. I want to finish this before KH3 and I want to keep this playlist below 100 videos if possible so I won't be recording every battle. I will only including forced fights with common enemies if its important/difficult or if it is part of a group like the LoD Missions. I also doubt I will no damage every fight, some forced common enemy fights are incredibly difficult just to survive but I will do what I can.
Now on to the fight itself... This is a weird one because there is a trick to manipulating its AI that makes the fight significantly faster and easier. However, manipulation of this kind in KH2 is not as simple as you would think. In this case, the only way to manipulate this fight is to play a very specific way all the way from the very start of the game. The game calculates RNG from when you load up the game and since I can't really expect people to restart the game despite how early it is, I didn't bother doing it.
With RNG manipulation, the trick is to just take the fight slow. When it sticks its arms and legs into the ground, the fight becomes a mess of vines and enemy spawns and you can't reliably do damage while avoiding damage yourself. Creepers die in 4 hits so just hit once then do a combo. The phase where it flies around feels off on PS4, I think the window for the reversal RC is much more tight because you can see I keep missing the reversals and got barely any damage. You can clearly see the RC come up but it goes away so fast that I have no chance of hitting it.
