Kickback is a somewhat-survivors-like top-down shooter where shooting doubles as your only movement mechanic.

While it is short on level variety, the mechanics are solid and there is plenty of stuff to unlock, which will easily outlast the story (and is why there will be a part 2 to this playthrough). And if you find the shoot-to-move mechanic hard to handle, there are unlockable characters that present a more traditional twin-stick experience.
